Died at the Battle of the Loc Ninh Plantation.

Jesse was like Ford he could make you laugh, he also had a big heart, I was a new guy and had drank all my water, I was hot and didn't want to ask anyone for some of theirs, Jesse seeing this shared his with me, Jesse was that kind of guy, he didn't care that I was new to the Platoon he just knew that I needed help and he was there.

French out post is where we started our Patrols and ended them. Located right out side of Lai Khe on Highway 13.If you follow this road it will lead you to Loc Ninh and An Loc. We would wait here till almost dark, before setting out on a nights ambush patrol.
