Dannie Died at the Battle of the LocNinh Plantation
A couple of weeks before Dannie died, he got word that he was going back to the States to learn to fly, and then come back to Vietnam, He didn't want to be on the ground, he wanted to fly. He thought his chances of going home would be better, It’s sad that his dream didn't come true

Clayton survived the Battle of the Loc Ninh Plantation, Clayton was from Texas and would not let you forget it. Clayton was a lucky man, while on patrol Clayton and Ward walked up to a tree,Calyton was in front and Ward was right behind him, the VC blew a claymore mine, it went around Clayton and hit Ward, he always said it was because he was from Texas.
