SFC.Clements

SFC.Clements survived the Battle of the LocNinh Plantation. SFC.Clements was Recons Platoon Sgt,He always knew what he was doing,he didn't take any crap from anyone,and always stuck up for us .After the Battle and the deaths of his men,SFC.Clements just sort of gave up,he was not the same man we all knew.Dan Rather ( holding Mic ) interviewing SFC.Clements right after Operation Crimp ( Battle of Trung Lap Jan 1966 ) Peter Arnette's description of the Battle can be found in the book ( The Tunnels of Cu Chi ) LTC.Eyster was killed by a sniper and Arnette won a Pulitzer Prize for his description of the Battle

Sgt.Bill Laird survived the Battle of Loc Ninh Plantation.Sgt.Laird was a good Sgt.and was always there when you needed him,I wasn't in his squad ,but when I did go out with him, I was not worried.
